The BVLH is looking for a volunteer to take up the important role of a Bay Captain co-ordinator.

and approximate time commitment are listed below.
- Liaison between the Board and Bay Captains – Serve as the main point of contact for Bay Captains, providing ongoing support, guidance, and feedback. Keep volunteers informed about upcoming events, opportunities, and organizational updates.
- Recruitment – Actively recruit volunteers through various channels such as online platforms, community events, and networking to ensure a sufficient pool of Bay Captains
- Orientation and Training – Organize orientation sessions to introduce Bay Captains to the organization’s mission, policies, and procedures. Provide training and resources to equip Bay Captains with the skills necessary for their roles.
It is estimated that the Bay Captain Co-ordinator will contribute 8-10 hours per month during the peak “cottage season” and 4-6 hours per month the rest of the year.
